National Institute of Trial Advocacy
NITA is the premiere provider of litigation skills training in the United States. NITA Master Advocates have completed a course of skills training and trial advocacy training . More than half of our lawyers are certified Master Advocates, and have served as teachers, program directors and Board members.
American Inns of CourtAmerican Inns of Court facilitate engagement of experienced lawyers and judges with newer lawyers to foster effective legal advocacy, improve professionalism, and build keener ethical awareness. San Francisco has three Inn's; our lawyers have held leadership positions in all three.
International Society of BarristersAn honor society committed to the highest standards of ethics and civility limited to 800 lawyers worldwide. Fellows are chosen by their peers for excellence and integrity. Three of our partners are current Fellows, two of our lawyers have served on the Board of Governors and as Officers. Michael Kelly will server as the organization's President in 2013.
International Academy of Trial LawyersAn invitation-only fellowship of elite trial lawyers which promotes the rule of law around the globe, facilitates the administration of justice, and elevates the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy.
Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers
The Register lists only those select law practices that have earned the highest Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating and have been designated by their colleagues as preeminent in their field. We have been listed for more than 30 years.

A listing in Best Lawyers in America is widely regarded as a signal honor. Selections are made based upon peer-reviewed surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their peers. American Association for Justice
The AAJ promotes a fair, effective justice system and supports efforts to ensure that injured people can obtain justice in America's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
American Board of Trial Advocates
ABOTA elevates the ethical and technical standards of advocacy and promotes the efficient administration of justice. Membership requires demonstrated proficiency in trial and a minimum of twenty jury trials to verdict. Five of our partners are ABOTA members, two serve on the National Board, three on the local Executive Board and five have been President of the San Francisco ABOTA chapter, including Michael A. Kelly in 2010.
