Emily C. Wecht Polcari (download vcard) 
Emily graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca New York with a B.A. in American Studies in 2002. While at Cornell she swam on the varsity swim team and played on the club water polo team.
Emily received her J.D. from U.C. Hastings in 2005. While in law school Emily received the American Jurisprudence award for Personal Injury Litigation and served as the Production Editor for Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly. After graduating from law school, Emily spent a year working at the San Francisco Superior Court. She handled legal research for fifteen general civil law judges in many areas of the law, such as personal injury, landlord/tenant, class actions, and commercial litigation.
Emily joined the Walkup firm in 2006 and works on all types of personal injury cases, including product liability cases, medical negligence cases, premises liability cases, and public entity liability cases. She is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and serves on their New Lawyers Division Continuing Education Committee, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Queens Bench. In 2009 Emily will serve as a coach for Boalt Hall's mock trial team with fellow Walkup associates Spencer Pahlke and Sara Peters.
