The Northern California Super Lawyers list recognizes top attorneys through a multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation.

Super Lawyers candidates are nominated and chosen based on an evaluation of 12 eligibility requirements, including verdicts and settlements, experience, certifications, and pro bono service. Super Lawyers selections comprise the top five percent of attorneys and are chosen annually on a state-by-state basis. The California lawyers who receive the highest point totals during this selection process are further recognized in the Northern California Super Lawyers Top Lists.
