Valerie is known for her powerful advocacy on behalf of survivors of sexual abuse and clients who have suffered catastrophic, life-altering injuries. With multiple seven-figure results, she brings a combination of legal precision, tenacity, and compassion to every case—helping juries and defendants fully understand the profound and lasting impact of serious harm. She has developed particular expertise representing survivors of sexual abuse, holding schools and institutions accountable when they fail to protect vulnerable children and adults.

Her recent results include a $9,000,000 settlement in a catastrophic burn case involving unsafe hot coffee handling practices at a fast food drive-thru, and a $ 4,600,000 settlement in a school negligence case exposing repeated failures in supervision that allowed a child to be repeatedly abused on campus.

Beyond her trial work, Valerie serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer and included in Best Lawyers in America, and serves as a dedicated mentor and educator.
