Ashcon Minoiefar

Associate Attorney

Ashcon Minoiefar represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including medical negligence, dangerous products, premises liability, and motor vehicle collisions. His practice also includes claims against government entities for dangerous roads and highways. He has also successfully represented survivors of sexual abuse, including a client abused by a prison guard at the federal penitentiary in Dublin—one of more than 100 women whose claims resulted in one of the largest settlements for sexual abuse against the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

He was a member of the Walkup team that represented Tenderloin residents in U.S. District Court, seeking injunctive relief against the City and County of San Francisco to address unsafe conditions in the neighborhood caused by rampant drug use and the City’s failure to address issues created by unhoused residents, impacting the clients’ homes, daily lives, and community.

He has helped secure major settlements and verdicts for plaintiffs in complex medical negligence matters, including a $21,000,000 verdict in a delayed diagnosis of stroke case that earned recognition as a finalist for the San Francisco Trial Lawyer Association’s “Trial Lawyer of the Year” award.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Ashcon graduated magna cum laude from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, after earning his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara. During law school, he founded the UCSF Law Plaintiffs Law Association. He has been practicing at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger since 2022.
