Associations & Memberships

Elise represents clients in a wide range of matters including medical malpractice, motor vehicle negligence, product liability, and victims of sexual abuse. She is compassionate and deeply committed to advocating for the rights of marginalized clients and communities, particularly those vulnerable to exploitation.

Prior joining Walkup, Elise interned with the California Attorney General’s Civil Rights Enforcement Section, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Civil Rights Bureau, Bay Area Legal Aid’s Economic Justice unit, and the San Francisco Department of Police Accountability. Through these roles, she gained experience advocating for underserved individuals and addressing civil rights violations and systemic injustice.

Her background in community advocacy continues to inform her plaintiff-side practice and her commitment to serving individuals who have been harmed by powerful entities and corporations.

Elise graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law. During law school, she won the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial Competition and earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Torts. She also staffed the USF Law Review, served as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure, and participated in USF Law’s Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic.

Elise is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of California.
