Preschool Playground Accident

We brought suit on behalf of the parents of  a preschool student who died when a schoolyard tire swing overturned. The child was on the swing when the newly installed play structure lost vertical stability and toppled over. Suit was filed against the manufacturer claiming violation of safe design principles. The school was also sued for not anchoring the swing set to the ground and failing to have the installation inspected by a certified expert before putting it in use. The established a foundation for playground safety in their daughter’s memory with part of their recovery.
