Firm Operations Continue Uninterrupted During Shelter in Place Order

Anticipating the likely need for self-quarantine prior to the San Francisco government mandate to shelter in place, the Walkup firm established a fully functional remote office in order to seamlessly continue to serve existing and new clients on March 13, 2020. We are prosecuting new and existing cases utilizing various remote technologies including Zoom, Go To Meeting, Face Time and other conferencing apps. We have been practicing social distancing and safe hygiene practices while continuing to represent our clients as usual.

For our existing clients, our phones have been transitioned to operate remotely. You can reach the attorney, legal assistant or paralegal you are working with by using the same phone numbers and extensions you used prior to the crisis.

For new clients, you can use our live chat feature to have your questions answered. We are just a phone call away.

We are available for initial free consultation without the need to come to our office. We can evaluate your claim, process the needed case forms and get your electronic signature without you having to leave your house. Use our chat feature or visit our contact page to get in touch with us today.

While our ordinary preference is to meet with clients personally, these are not normal times. For that reason we continue to provide new case evaluation remotely via phone, email, fax or on-line chat for your convenience. Once you contact us, someone will be in contact with you soon to discuss your potential claim.

With our on-line chat option, simply go to the bottom of the screen and click the live chat button. An intake person is available 24/7 to take your information. Although a chat does not create a client-lawyer relationship, it does allow for a useful way to ask questions and get information to our lawyers.

Documents that need to be signed in order to file pleadings or to complete the intake process can be executed using Doc U Sign which provides a safe, convenient way of signing documents from anywhere without the need to print, scan, or fax.

We will continue to adapt to the changing circumstances of the pandemic in order to make certain your rights are protected. While monitoring the constantly changing status of the courts our team has been practicing :

  • Social distancing – ( staying 6 feet away from others );
  • Regular hand-washing – 20 seconds with soap and water;
  • Disinfecting surfaces regularly;
  • Keeping your unwashed hands away from face, nose lips
  • Staying active while minimizing contact with others.

We believe these steps will help to flatten the curve and we encourage our clients and colleagues to practice them as well. At the same time, these restriction do not prevent us from attending to client needs and providing legal services in a competent and productive manner.
