Walkup Attorney Christian Jagusch Shares Family’s Sentiments with @CBS8

Surprising news coming from San Diego stemming from the death of Megan Espinoza following plastic surgery by Dr. Carlos Chacon and Nurse Heather Vass at Divino Plastic Surgery in December 2018. Walkup physician-attorney Christian Jagusch shares the family’s sentiments with @CBS8 after the District Attorney arrested Dr. Chacon last Thursday on second-degree murder. His arraignment is scheduled for today at 1:30 p.m. in Department 8 in South County. The doctor’s arrest follows Dr. Jagusch’s recent settlement for the wrongful death of his client, Megan Espinoza, a 36-year-old mother of two, who died weeks after surgery. Despite an involuntary manslaughter charge in Espinoza’s case and pending new criminal charges, the surgeon remains licensed to practice medicine. “Hopefully, this will get the attention of the Medical Board and legislators to make changes so that patients are protected,” said Dr. Jagusch.
