During UC Law SF’s Spring Week 2024, Matt Davis, a distinguished member of the class of ’89 and shareholder at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly, & Schoenberger, was honored with the prestigious Alum of the Year Award. Davis has demonstrated exceptional generosity and leadership, particularly in championing pro bono representation for the college in lawsuits aimed at improving conditions in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district.
In his acceptance speech, Davis highlighted the strength of the UC Law SF community and the influence of its alumni, reflecting on his journey to UC Law and expressing gratitude to his mentors and partners. Spring Week, organized by the UC Law San Francisco Alumni Association, is an event for networking, engagement, and celebration, showcasing the remarkable legacy and accomplishments of the UC Law SF community since its inception in 1878.
